Banana Spekulas Cake


  • 100 gr Butter (room temperature)
  • 90 gr Javara vanilla coconut sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Bananas, mashed
  • 50 gr Milk
  • 30 gr Almond nuts(or any nuts preffered)

Dry Ingredients (sift together)

  • 20 gr Cornstarch
  • 150 gr All purpose flour
  • 5 gr Javara Spekulas Powder


  1. Cream the butter with coconut sugar until pale white
  2. Insert the eggs to the mixture one by one until well combined
  3. Insert the dry ingredients in 3 addition to the batter alternating with 2 addition of mashed banana+milk mixture
  4. Insert the almonds, save some for topping
  5. Pour the batter into a prepared loaf pan, scatter the remaining almonds
  6. Bake the cake in 180°C oven(preheated) for approximately 30 minutes
